The UV steriliser Helix Max clears the water with the help of ultraviolet radiation. This radiation is emitted by a special lamp. The UV-C radiation kills all forms of life, that are directly exposed to the radiation – microalgae, bacteria, protozoa and other parasites. The result is cristal clear water and healthy fish. Can eleminate single cell algaes giving crystal clear water in aquariums and ponds. Helps eradicate bacteria and other water borne parasites and decreases the risk of fish acquiring infections. Controlled water flow and the large volume of the Helix Max ensure maximum efficacy. The water is directed in a spiral path around the quartz tube resulting in more efficient use of the UV radiation than in standard units. Inlet and outlet fittings can be rotated through 360° for easy mounting in any angle.
