The Berlin Classic originally set the standard by which all other skimmers are measured. The original triple-pass design optimizes the contact time between air and water by length of contact. The telescoped tubes of the Berlin allow for a long contact time as the air/water mixture moves up and down the triple pass design.

 The traditional venturi injector allows for a massive influx of fine bubbles while creating a turbulent storm in the bottom mixing chamber. This "Classic" venturi driven skimmer can be operated from an external or submersed pump for increased design options.
